Book Reviews

Ink and Impressions

Welcome to Ink & Impressions, a space where I dive into the world of independent writers and their creations. Reading is a deeply personal experience, and reviews are, by nature, subjective.

Just because a book resonates with me—or doesn’t quite hit the mark—doesn’t mean it will be the same for you.

I’ve never studied writing, nor do I claim to have any formal literary expertise—my thoughts are purely based on what I like, feel, and connect with.

My reviews focus on form, structure, and emotional impact, but ultimately, the best way to judge a book is to read it yourself.

I encourage you to pick up these works, explore their pages, and form your own thoughts. Whether you agree or disagree with my take, I’d love to hear your perspective—after all, literature is meant to be discussed, debated, and most importantly, felt.

In the Grey

Ryan Davis

The debut collection from East Coast poet, living in the UK, Ryan Davis.  Where some write their words, Ryan bleeds ink into the pages with a raw, authentic, and emotive style.
